Trinity Tree Farms: Christmas Trees!

Alex and I were married at Trinity Tree Farm, a Christmas tree farm out in Issaquah. One of the reasons we picked that venue was that we could come back every year to get a Christmas tree and re-live one of the happiest days of our lives.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, we drove all the way out there to get our first Christmas tree for our first home. We couldn't have been more excited!

Trinity Tree Farms sits on acres and acres of land, so we had a lovely time walking through all the rows of trees.

Look at all the baby Christmas trees!

We even caught a glimpse of the new venue on the property "The Lodge"

Can we get married again?! Beautiful!

Each tree that we sorta liked, we had to measure to see if it would be tall enough. Our house has vaulted ceilings in the living room, so I wanted to go all out for our tree.

With all the rain we've been having, the ground was fairly wet and muddy. My trusty DAV rain boots came in handy! They are English style rain boots, so they are made to keep you warm and dry. These are called the "Victoria", and while I do LOVE them because of their name, that isn't the only reason. They have a lace up back, making them perfect for ladies like myself who have a hard time fitting into normal boots (wide calves/Cougar calves...go Cougs!).

And then....we found our tree!

Our wedding rings on our Christmas tree.

Next year, I think we can get an even bigger one. But this years tree is so beautiful and looks so lovely in our living room.

Cheers to Christmas
