Creamy Tahini Dip
Tahini is that special ingredient that usually goes into hummus. It is roasted and blended sesame seeds that come together in an oily paste similar to natural peanut butter. It has a very strong flavor that turns some people off, but personally, I love it!
This dip is perfect for pita, veggies, falafel and just about anything!
You will need:
- 3/4 cup unsalted sesame tahini
- 1/2 unsweetened coconut milk (plus a little more if needed)
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 medium garlic clove, coarsely chopped
- 1/2-3/4 tsp sal
Toss everything in a blender or a food processor and blend until creamy and fluffy.
If it is still too thick, add more coconut milk 1/4 cup at a time. Taste and add more salt and lemon juice as you like.
Once it tastes right, you're done! Keep this in the fridge and it should last for a few weeks! If you don't eat it by then that is.
