Dry Soda want Cinnamon Pretzel Bread

You'll need:

For the bread-

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon rapid rise yeast
  • 1 cup warm water

For the filling-

  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 stick of butter

Pre-heat oven to 450

Add all bread ingredients to your mixer and allow it to mix and combine, about 3-5 mintues should do it. It should be smooth and just a little sticky.

Pull the dough ball out of the mixing bowl and place in a greased bowl and cover with a cloth or plastic wrap. Leave in a warm place and let rise for 30 min.

After 30 min, the dough should have doubled in size. Remove from bowl and place on a lightly floured surface. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.

Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon together and melt the butter.  Brush the butter onto the rectangle and sprinkle on the cinnamon and sugar mixture, be generous! You'll want a lot in there.

Starting from one of the short sides, roll up the dough into a log form. Place the dough in a greased bread pan.

Cover the bread with a cloth and let rise for another 10-15, until the dough is above the edge of the pan. Sprinkle with a little sea salt if you so desire.

Remove the cloth and place in the oven, bake for 10-15 minutes, until the top of bread is nice and toasty brown.

Once it's done, let it cool and enjoy! Once you slice into it you can see your beautiful swirl of cinnamon-sugary goodness.  It pairs great with Dry Soda's Vanilla Bean.
