Jalapeño Blackberry Brie "Kisses"


This is a recipe that I just sort of smooshed together. It's a variation of a baked brie treat... You will need:

  • Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 1/2 cup blackberry preserves or fresh blackberries.
  • 1/2 jalapeño
  • Brie

Make sure your puff pastry is thawed.

Pre-heat the oven to 425.

Put the blackberry and the jalapeño in a blender and blend until well mixed. You don't really want chunks of seeds and such of jalapeño popping up. You just want the nice flavor and hint of spice.

Cut the puff pastry into 16 squares.

Cut off about quater sized chunks of brie.

Place the brie in the center of the square, top with a dollop of spicy blackberry goodness and fold the opposing corners of the square together.

Make sure there is a good seal on all your puff pastry kisses and place in the oven. Bake for about 20 min, until the pastry is golden brown.

Let cool and tada! Yummy, spicy, fruity little bites!
